Elevated walkway 18 meters off the ground for scenic view & close look at treetops, birds & insects.
What a fascinating view of the entire park area and London skyline. An ingenious idea to put a treetop walkway in this area. The elevator going up for those that need it was closed if someone needed it. There are some small signs and viewing areas along the entire walkway.
Loved the tree top walkway at Kew Gardens! It was a long way up the stairs and the lift wasn't working - hopefully they get it fixed soon so you can go up if need accessibility help. The views were amazing and it wasn't too crowded we went up there in the evening around 7pm. We got in for PS10pp if you enter after 4pm so it was a lot cheaper than the usual PS25-30pp.
We climbed the steps, there is a lift for those who need it. Fantastic views of the trees and gardens. The city of London can be seen in the distance. It did get a bit wobbly, wasn't too busy.
Nice experience to walk around the tree canopies. You could see the temperate house, pagoda and lots of the park from above. It is a short climb up a staircase to reach the platforms. Just note that the structure sways when you're up there, so if you're afraid of heights, maybe you should reconsider. There was a lift, but it was not in service (Aug 2024).
Super tree top walk, the whole structures sways but it's all the fun of the experience. Great views and if the floor was glass it would be more exciting
Absolutely amazing. The view is phenomenal and its wheelchair accessible. Best part of kew gardens for sure.
