Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens' dramatic landscape, combined with large-scale exotic, sub-tropical planting, provides the backdrop to contemplative and inspiring art by internationally renowned artists. A major attraction near Penzance in West Cornwall, Tremenheere can be found in a beautiful sheltered valley, overlooking St Michael's Mount, with woods and a stream, interwoven with an evolving programme of contemporary artwork.
A really beautiful sub tropical garden with stunning views and some harmonious and playful sculptures which enhance the garden. Fun trail for little kids. You could walk here for many hours, we were short of time and had a good look around in just under 2 hours.
Wonderful gardens, restaurant and Chelsea gold winners medal succulent nursey!!! We highly recommend Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens after visiting whilst on holiday recently. Beautifully kept and landscaped garden's with lovely planting, interjected with interesting substantial pieces art. Breathtaking views from many vistas which have obviously been given great thought. The site is not as damp and steep as some other gardens in Cornwall, though it is still located on the side of a hill. Every staff member that we saw or interacted with were friendly including in the nursery, garden entrance, gardeners, restaurant and art shop. We very much enjoyed our lunch, especially the crab macaroni cheese and coffees. You can visit the restaurant, shop and nursery without paying to enter the gardens or you can bring your own picnic to enjoy if you want to save money in reverse. If you love succulents you will LOVE the nursery We both had a relaxing and enjoyable time at Tremenheere and plan to return, thank you so much!
Beautiful gardens and lovely restaurant. Walking up to the pagoda on a sunny day was sublime. Our child loved it, he's 2. If you ah we kids and they're the energetic type id recommend a lead of some kind. Steep hills. You can buy some lovely succulents there after, a bit pricey but we still bought one!
The cafe and shop and plant sales all excellent. We had delicious lunch and bought a succulent from the knowledgeable salesman in the plant sales. The shop stocks really interesting ceramics. And the gardens were a delight
Beautiful place to spend a day (and come back again). Combined creative, including gardens, succulents, art (gallery, sculptures, and shop). Food from Kitchen was very good.
visited with my Mum. Gardens were beautiful, as were the views. Cafe/bistro was busy. Loved the succulent shop! Good for a few hours entertainment.
