Vast parkland of woodland and lakes, once a royal hunting ground, now used for leisure activities.
Quick stroll around the new housing in the park. Very busy with families and dog walkers. Some of the landscaping is just beautiful. Would like to do a long hike another time. There is an animal sanctuary there, entry is PS4.50 for adults. Butterfly meadow and other attractions in the park. There is a Go Ape centre there too. Car parking available.
There were parts I didn't fully explore. The walk from into the park was very long (from entrance closest to Oakwood Stn) the park itself is spacious and had lots of trees. Nice and quite but be careful not to get lost. Haha.
Lovely country park. Many different trails for walkers/ hikers and cyclists. About 2 technical downhill trails plus an epic dirt jump area. Probably over 100 different trails around the park, and they all come out around oakwood and Cockfosters. There's also two different Caffe locations near the animal sanctuary and the main car park.
I went to Trent Park for the first time for a walk. I walked around and really enjoyed it. Got my steps up and appreciated the people walking with their dogs. Will look to go back again.
This has been my favourite park since a young age and I will never get tired of long walks here. Each season brings its own beauty here but my absolute favourite is autumn! Very dog friendly park and great walking paths, it can get muddy on days it's rained but it's worth it. I can't recommend this park enough, it is truly paradise for me.
Lovely park, great for peaceful walk in the nature and picnics, great for kids and for dog walkers but the toilets on site are disgusting, we had to leave because of it. It's such a shame that it is left in this state.
