Went on Father's Day to the classic car show absolutely fantastic day weather held off, some great cars there will go again next year
Good countryside walk. Birdlife to see here and there. Plenty of dog walkers here.
A little bit of peaceful heaven in a haven of beautiful gardens
Good for a walk, either easy flat or more strenuous steep. Good views from the top. Coming down the steep path can be a bit tricky so not advisable for people with any mobility issues. Must keep dogs on a lead, but there's a large flat area near the entrance which is specially for dogs to run around off the lead.
A lovely area to walk which is not too crowded with opportunities to let your dog roam free. Unfortunately parking can be tricky on the little lay by in between Trentham Park Golf Course and St Mary's Church. They have added some new lay-by spots in but it's still problematic. I would suggest parking at the opposite end of the park across the M6 motorway bridge their are some little lay-bys along the A519. It's much quieter here and you can have a lot more peace and quiet.
