Trumble Gardens is a 34-acre botanical garden featuring a stunning collection of over 10,000 different plant species. The gardens are divided into various sections, including a rock garden, herb garden, and sensory garden, each showcasing a unique range of flora. Visitors can wander along the meandering paths, taking in the vibrant colors and fragrances of the plants, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The gardens also feature several water features, including a large pond and a fountain, adding to the serene ambiance.
It's not kept clean. I feel disappointed about the behaviour of many people who are ignorant to put the garbage properly.
Had a little market there but there is a garden there. You can explore with the kids .
Trumble Gardens. This is an under used community resource. It has at least 4 tennis courts which could do with a tidy up and a splash of cash. Often used by those in the know , I regularly see the facility used for private tennis coaching.
Nice little playground hidden away but it's a shame about all the drunks and dodgy teenagers smoking and loitering under trees and behind the bushes all day resulting in graffiti, damaged fences, cigarettes and alcohol cans everywhere. Did not feel safe at all as the playground was hidden around the corner behind the houses past the tennis courts. Had to leave quickly too as there was another mum who sat on the benches playing loud rap music whilst her kid was running round the playground on her own. Not the kind of safe and peaceful area you'd want to go to at all.
Looks like a lovely little park with Rose garden, tennis courts (that could do with a resurface and tlc) small car park and children playground. I would give it 4 stars, but there were 5 guys (2 homeless) in the shelter by the playground. Smoking bbq, mattress. Obviously been there for some time. Friendly and chatty, but may put some people off.
Whilst my daughter loves this park, it is absolutely atrocious. There is loads of smashed glass surrounding the play area where the miscreants go to drink at night. This park has a gate, but it also has multiple openings where there are gaps in bushes where a dog of lead could easily get in or a child could get out if it were not being properly parented. This is not ideal in general but even worse as it is right next to where cars go. I haven't checked out the toilets but they were disgusting when I was a child going here around 25 years ago so considering the state of the place i would assume that these are no better. Also, when you enter the main park, to get to the children's play area it is deep inside and to the left. When I was there a random man came in and I haven't a clue what he was doing as he was alone and not a child but he left pretty quickly when he saw me clocking him. All in all, the little one enjoys the recreational aspect of this park but from a parents perspective be prepared to have to move glass away from your child and scope the place for stray men. Not a clue who this park is maintained by because it clearly is not being maintained.
