Lovely park. Lots of swans. Ducks. Greece. You're able to fish and feed. It's smaller than expected but still worth a visit if you like the birds
Good car park for launching water crafts. Just a shame that the river footpath is on the other side with the nearest bridge 1.5 miles away. Beware of the various birds around!
Good spot to stop by if you are already in the area. But maybe not worth. A big detour. The park is very small.
Spent a couple of hours here this afternoon with my son who's 3, we had a walk around then popped over the road to buy some bread before returning to feed the ducks. I have used this car park before around 6/7 years ago as a place to eat my lunch but never walked around before today. It could do with a bit of a refresh to be honest. It's a lovely little place on the water with all the swans, ducks etc but it would benefit from a clean up and some paint. Be aware there are separate entrance and exit points to the car park from the road!
Lovely to be able to feed the swans and ducks and see all the different varieties and colours. We were lucky enough to see a baby duckling as well.
Overgrown trees bushes hedges and grass, filthy dirty I know there are birds ducks swans about and they are beautiful but the poo is everywhere and on everything. If birds are passing on diseases to humans this would be the place it happens lol
