Trwyn Penmon Point is a rugged headland on the north coast of Anglesey, Wales, marked by a prominent lighthouse and surrounded by dramatic cliffs, rocky outcrops, and sandy beaches. The point offers breathtaking views of the Irish Sea, the Skerries Islands, and the coastline of north Wales.
Beautiful place, access via a toll road with various charges dependent on vehicle type and size. Great place to park up for the day either with a motorhome or car to relax, fish or walk. We enjoyed sitting with binoculars watching Puffin island across the water, watching the seals on the beach, before taking the dogs on the beach for a dip, followed by an iced coffee in the cafe.
Fantastic pebble steep beach. Ideal for a stroll or short sit down. See the seals on Puffin Island with the naked eye or binoculars. Appropriate footwear recommended not flip flops. Cafe / bar nearby - amazing. PS3.50 charge to park at the beach - cash! Awesome place.
Well worth the visit when on Anglesey. Pay PS3.50 to use the toll road, plenty of parking at the end, as well as a great cafe. Cafe has toilet facilities for customers. Saw a seal in the sea. Could spend forever here just looking out to sea towards puffin island with snowdonia as a backdrop.
Beautiful area. You can have lovely time with your family and friends. PS3.50 for cars and might be little higher for big vehicles. There is a restaurant near the beach.
Went here for a visit. Worth the trip, lovely views, saw a seal in the water. Lovely cafe - friendly and great choice. You have to pay PS3.50 for the toll road. Pay by card or have correct cash. There is the old Dovecot & Priory to visit before toll road.
It's a great spot so long as you know what to expect. There's a nice cafe, a stoney beach, amazing views, properly dangerous water, nice gentle walks and some interesting religious and industrial history. It isn't a great place for small kids or messing about on paddle boards etc but on clear day ( or a big northerly storm) it is great place to go.
