This 12-hectare nature reserve features a variety of habitats including woodland, grassland, and wetlands, providing a haven for local wildlife. A network of walking trails and footpaths crisscross the reserve, allowing visitors to explore and discover the area's natural beauty. The reserve is particularly notable for its stunning displays of bluebells in the spring and its population of rare and endangered species, including the great crested newt.
This nature reserve is currently being given a makeover. It looks really good already. Paths are wider, and most of the "jungle" has been dealt with. Much of it still remains - it is a nature reserve, after all. Wooden carvings, similar to those newly in court park, are being created as I write! This is a lovely hidden gem in the heart of hillingdon. Actually, I wonder why I'm telling you about it! There's free but limited parking nearby
Small woodland area with paths for walking
I loved it!! Would you believe in that little patch of hidden woodland is a nature reserve, a pond and route that takes you all around. The Grove is a hidden garden full of unexpected surprises. Great to get lost in here, i recommend going with someone, not the nicest of places to walk around by your self.
A little nature reserve in Hillingdon. It's near Hillingdon Manor Cricket Ground (Coney Green). It's good on a hot day because there r lots of trees for shade. It's a bit overgrown in a few places, but very peaceful.
It's says it's good for kids but you can't pass with a baby trolley. I am so disappointed came all the way here and all the preparation that takes to plan a morning out with a baby for nothing. I will say it's suitable for 6 years old and plus.
