What an experience! We took our son and his friend for his 10th birthday and they both absolutely loved it! The set up is really good, everything is set up and ready to go upon arrival. The games were great, different shooting games both as a team and vs each other. Me and my partner were dying to have a go!! Would definitely recommend!
I visited VR Experience Wales yesterday with my three children, aged 16, 14, and 12, and had an absolutely fantastic time! We booked an hour and twenty minutes, during which they played four different games, and it was non-stop fun from start to finish. The games offered a nice mix of collaborative and player-vs-player action, which kept my kids engaged and excited throughout the entire session. They were talking about the games and their favorite moments for the rest of the day, and they're already asking when we can go back again. On top of the fun we had, it's great to be able to support a good --Full Bellies, Not Full Bins. Knowing that our fun day out also contributes to helping those in need made it even more special. Overall, I highly recommend VR Experience Wales for anyone looking for an exciting and memorable outing with family or friends. We'll definitely be returning soon!
Absolutely fantastic fun experience for kids (12 Year old) and big kids (46). There's a wide variety of games to choose from which makes the experience more appealing and we'll definitely be returning for more. Mark was a really great host, very informative and explained the instructions thoroughly so we could jump right into the action without wasting any time. If you already own a VR and think this isn't for you then think again, being able to walk around in a huge space and having that freedom adds a whole new level of immersiveness to VR.
We greatly enjoyed the VR experience especially with the amazing host, Mark. He guided us all throughout the games and has given us clear instructions which made the experience very easy and fun. Even though we were very late, he still let us play for an hour! It is totally worth your time and money so I highly recommend it! I'll absolutely come back to play more!
I must say, pulling up to a seemingly random community hall (in this case Treowen) to do our 1st VR experience, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, it's amazing what Mark can do with a little space and all his gadgets! Myself (39), partner (37) and daughter (6) had an awesome experience from start to finish! We played our 4 games plus a bonus test of a newer game Mark wanted (candy chaos) which was an excellent intro to the whole thing! Our personal favourite was the archery based fantasy tower defense style game, though the space shooter and zombie defence (not too scary for daughter) were all very exciting and thrilling too! The cookery game to finish was completely different but such a laugh and really shows off the tactile type VR stuff rather than the point and shoot style. Even the loading lobby where you get to mess around with things before each game loads up was a hoot and had my daughter laughing and entertained all the way! The price we paid (PS87) was pittance compared to similar VR exp's in and around south Wales (PS120 -PS200 for the private experience) and worth every penny. Even though we can't afford to do this every weekend (like we'd love to), we'll certainly be doing it again on special occasions. The fact that Mark is doing all of this for a non-profit organisation and the money goes towards ensuring food isn't wasted but redistributed to those in the community that need it, makes it all even better! If you're thinking of booking this experience, just DO IT! You'll certainly not regret it! Be sure to use VR Experience Wales though, not the rip-off, profiteering companies that are playing copy cat!
I was very impressed with VR Experience Wales and would 100% recommend. I had been slightly apprehensive about entertaining eight 16 year old boys for my Son's Birthday, however I need not have worried. The boys had a great time, and all commented on how awesome the experience was. A stress free afternoon for the parents and a great time had by all. Thank you VR Wales and we look forward to seeing you again!
