Stayed for the weekend with friends and family in 2 separate lodges. Staff could not be helpful enough when called upon and very friendly. This place is totally hidden away and a breath of fresh air considering its only a stones throw from the busy M5. There are several choices of accommodation which are all spotless, we'll equipped and nicely spaced apart from each other. For those that love the water ,canoes, kayaks and paddle boarding is made easy with a lovely wide calm stretch of river to explore, if that's not enough they also have we'll instructed archery and axe throwing. We had 12 adults in our group who all said we'd return again. Great stay ,many thanks to all the staff.
We booked for Air Rifle Shooting and Archery sessions prior to arrival at our Airbnb. Olivia was our instructor for both sessions and she was great teacher and with her instructions, guidance and quirkiness we felt at ease. I found the Shooting tricky but loved the Archery and of course my husband was a natural with both and he enjoyed Archery so much, he's joined a local Archery club! We can't wait to do it again!
Amazing Day!!!! We did all the activities they had to offer and it was amazing but the best part was the friendliness of the staff! Stuart was our guide for all the activities today and he was fun and informative, my son already wants to go back for the rifle shooting and to see him again
Really lovely place in a beautiful setting We saw a kingfisher deans and a heron alas no otters or terrapins The staff are friendly and helpful The one thing I would say is make sure you empty your bladder before setting off as there is nowhere to stop to get out But as long as you do that (and don't drink too much before setting off) you are guaranteed a lovely relaxing time - and the good news is you don't even have to paddle on the way back - just steer! I can highly recommend this for all the family - and it is great for all abilities Go ahead and book it - you won't be disappointed
Our family went here to take part in archery, axe throwing and rifle shooting. Stuart our instructor/entertainer was excellent at his job and was a good laugh while providing a lot of fun games and competitions through each event.
What a great day. Both Stu and Laura were amazing! So friendly, fun and accommodating! The activities are so much fun and you get so much time to really enjoy them. What a great experience, would highly recommend. Thank you all.
