Great place to walk . Meet people. It was badly flooded recently in the storm a few weeks ago . The astro park has suffered really badly . So sad . I took these pics last weekend
Park is lovely but on the top field where we let our doggy off for a good run there and where kids do football training, there was a lot of rubbish, bottles, cans and even a chair all over the place. But the rest of the area is lovely.
Lovely job they have made of this place. It is a Village that hasn't forgotten it's most beloved Son, John Thomson. Yes it is Great having the park named after him. It is the place where he would have played when he was a wee Schoolboy.
A nice little park with a surprising amount of amenities, play park, skate park pitches and a nice walk with a small wooded section.
Park looking good pity about the dog mess some people leave lying about. Fruit trees all looking good. Hard winter. Damp today trees all sheding some colours
It's a good park with a village fair every late August on the 3rd or 4th Sunday. Their kids play area has had a recent roundabout added
