Walton Beach is a sandy beach with calm and clear waters, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The beach is surrounded by picturesque dunes and offers stunning views of the Firth of Clyde. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the promenade, which features a range of cafes, restaurants, and amusement arcades. The beach is also home to the Walton Pier, a historic pier that dates back to the 19th century and offers stunning views of the coastline.
Gorgeous sandy beach, which when the tide is out, provides ample room for games! We love playing cricket as a family! There's a takeaway next to the bikers cafe which provides everything from kebab, pizza, fish chips, sausages etc. Toilets aren't fantastic, so would recommend taking toilet paper if you're a lady in case you're caught short!
Such a nice quiet beach. Clean and sandy. If you walk 15/20 minutes away from the pier it can be very quiet. Parking is usually plentiful and an easy walk down to the beach. Sea is generally calm but can have the odd rip so always be aware and know your limits.
Love this beach, I have been coming since I was little! Nice and clean, soft sand, the waves can sometimes get really big and I have seen people surfing. Disappears at high tide so make sure you check tide times before you leave. If you do swim at high tide, you can do so near the ice cream shop or Revved Up cafe on google reviews. The sea doesnt get deep very quickly at high tide so you can touch the bottom for ages. Occasional jellyfish in the summer.
Just the most amazing beach. Lovely sand. Also great fun searching for sharks teeth. Not the easiest place to park, especially in the summer.
Walton on the Naz is a great place to visit. There is plenty to do and eat. Cafes, restaurants and fast food' if that is what you like. Gifts shops walks and well refurbished Walton Pier. The owners have made a great effort to get the pier looking more up-to-date with new rides. And let's not forget the wonderful sandy Beach. Do come visit and enjoy.
Had a wonderful time walking along the beach, paddling in the sea and beach combing. Treated ourselves to a huge ice cream. We bought lunch. The pier was very disappointing. Couldn't walk to the end as people had put up tents.
