Park featuring a playground and a fitness trail, plus a fishing lake and a pond for model boats.
It has expansive green spaces, scenic lake, great atmosphere. Accessible for visitors of all ages and abilities.Whether you're looking for a peaceful or an active day out, you can have a walk to there
Was a bit disappointed when I initially got there, carpark followed by a huge expanse of grass, lots of people with dogs, walked through the park came across the ground for Everton womens football club, then on to a small lake, wasn't best impressed, went on to the bigger lake, what an absolute gem of a lake, this definitely redeemed the park, highly recommend you park as close to the lake as you can and have a look, I'll definitely be going back
I live so close to this park and really don't get to go very often which is a shame as its such a beautiful park. I took my grandchildren for a,nice walk around both the lakes to feed the ducks, geese and swans and around the trees to feed the squirrels. They absolutely loved it. I've now made my mind up to visit much more often.
Nice play and sand area for the children on your way to the lake area you can do a work out as well. Lovely for a run which is marked out or a nice bike ride. There is also a sports center by the play area where you can go to use the rest rooms. And the park is dog friendly lots of dog walkers in the morning having a chat. And as you go around you will find picnic areas scattered around.
Lovely place, my daughter loves seeing the ducks, and i dont have to panic she falls in the pond because there's a barrier - it's just such a shame the playground is closed, hoping it's just temporary
A very good place for cardio training. There are equipment for strength and endurance exercises here as well fitness . There is a gym within the park Lifestyle and women's sports club EVERYONE. This is a suitable place for a family walk or a dog walk. You can have a barbecue, but don't forget to clean up after yourself.
