Walton Pier is now open! We will soon have some great new attractions for Walton and the surrounding area. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we will be posting on there the moment we open the new attractions. We will have a massive arcade in the pier now along with our fairground rides. We are adding bowling back to the pier and we will also have 4 new escape rooms. We will also have a VR simulation ride now and we are adding a huge soft play area and climbing walls to the pier to be in place by end of October for half term. Walton Pier
Had a very nice day in Walton , ended up at the pier with a grand of children. Bought some tokens. Children had lots of rides. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Really lovely. Loved every minute. Had some food out. The front was really nice. Little bit expensive but that filled a hole. Went on the arcades children. Grandchildren loved it and so far what a lovely day on the sandy beach and watching the grandchildren play in the water but the downside had to use the toilet on the pier. It was disgusting, one toilet overflowing one toilet wouldn't flush, urinal stunk sinks were dirty, the bin was full nearly overflowing and it looked like it hadn't been checked since last week. So all I can say not to use the pier toilets. They're in need of a refurbishment it is a shame because the staff are really lovely on the pier and we had a lovely time,
The 3rd longest pier, wheelchair accessible, ideal for families alike, worth taking a camera to get that ideal photo, arcades, funfair, Activity wall, crazy golf, food court, plenty of seating, parking close by, sandy beach, small town within walking distance, the end of the pier is not accessible due to repairs but still worth the visit.
Really nice place, wasn't to busy , great for all the family, good food with friendly staff.
Mixed feelings. The pier has seen better days, but the beach is outstanding (for the UK). We spent a few hours in the pier and there is a stark contrast between the front and back halves. The front feels like any other amusements, has many arcade games as well as pool tables. The back is abandoned/closed. Re-entering from the back, my sister described it as "an abandoned amusements in a videogame", adding that she was "expecting zombies". The length of the pier is striking, and worth going out back for, as you feel 'at sea' not 'at the beach'. The food at the pier was ok, but very pricey for the quality. We were able to park beachside for free, and had a great beach day. The sea comes in a long way, but when the beach is revealed, it is perfect for a family day. the sand is firm, and great for blankets, and games. The beach was clean a dog-free and the 70% of our day, we had it to ourselves. I do hope more people visit. With some revitalisation, this could become a great family spot, and I hope to return to see it full of life in future.
All of us had a brilliant time. Kids had lots of rides they could go on and the wrist bands were definitely worth it. Not expensive if you choose that wrist band option. Staff were really friendly and were always avaible. Good amount of ruder for my 2 year old and 6 year old to go on.
A drab looking pier from the outside, in need of maintenance as it is not very inviting. Inside, you will find a cafe besides various amusement arcade machines and activities such as bowling, climbing walls, and fairground rides, all of which are well kept. The interior is not very well lit, relying mainly from the lights of the machines. Walking to the other end of the arcade will lead you out onto the pier where you can find Dodgems. Walking on the pier itself is free.
