This 78-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of wildlife, including swans, ducks, and fish. The park is surrounded by woodland and offers scenic views, picnic areas, and a children's playground. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and birdwatching, or take a leisurely stroll around the lake. The park is also home to the historic Warren House, a 19th-century mansion that now serves as a cafe and event venue.
Lovely park for dog walking. Lots of friendly people around too. The only drawback is the occasional idiots on motorbikes. The woodland walks in the park need clearing out, they are overgrown with brambles and nettles.
Nice for a walk out. Enjoyable.
The grass in the park is so overgrown kids can't play on it and you've got no chance of playing fetch with your dog. Only place where the grass is cut short enough is on the ONE of the football pitches and that is not done by the people who are meant to look after the park. Bins are usually overflowing and there is broken glass and rubbish everywhwere.
This is literally my front garden, as I live in the new builds that don't have a front garden. I go running here, walk my puppa, connect with nature, and just look on with awe.
It's pleasant for a walk or run but just a decent green space
