What a beautiful place for a walk and the visitor centre is superb and had a nice cup of Earl Grey (my favourite),they are really friendly people and welcome (well behaved) dogs. Went there with our 2 year old Dobermann and Drone camera to get some pics and had a wonderful morning .

Beautiful scenic area. Ideal for walking dogs or just having an evening stroll. It has a car park located to the rear of the nature reserve. You can also access the reserve from the canal in multiple locations
Great Nature Reserve joint with Bumble Hole Canal , has many fishing lakes and you can fish the canal, Nature is abundant and is looked after by a great team of volunteers has lots of trails and a cafe that opens Wednesday ,Saturday Sunday. Kids will love it.
Fishing ok nice place for a walk
This annual canal festival is lovely and brings people together from the canal network and those living locally. Although the festival is much smaller than years ago the gathering still retains its village fete atmosphere. Stalls, food stands, crafts and food and drink boats, music on two stages, real ale bar, gin and coffee vans, show ring and fair all help to make this a fun weekend for all the family. All around Windmill End.
