To Promote and encourage access for the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged.
Really nice place to have a wheel in or walk, wheelchair accessible all round. Nice cafe on site and plenty of parking space. There is also a bike hire place too and hand cycles for disabled people. Excellent on a sunny day. Gates closes at 5pm.
Love watchtree! Such a beautiful clean area to take the kids & dogs .. we often hire a bike or my daughter will take her own scooter & we always stop at the cafe after own walks for a drink & icecream or cake usually
Well it's for a good cause. That aside it's a wonderful recreation hub. THAT aside the food is simple but tasty and worth the wait if your willpower allows you to walk the reserve first.
Nice cafe, great ice cream and play areas with bicycles to rent. Free parking and a donation to get in. Nice flat walk through the woods. Would like to see more about its history as an RAF base and its part in the F&M disaster.
Spent a lovely day at Watchtree Nature Reserve We ordered a Vegetarian Afternoon Tea and it was delicious! All freshly made, and served with a huge pot of tea! Amazing value for money and such a beautiful setting. Highly Recommend
Beautiful place to come hike or do a bike ride. We really enjoyed the cafe and ice cream kiosk. Eleanor who served us at the cafe made us feel really welcome and can recommend the food for the price. Will be back again when in the area.
