The splash pad runs seasonally from April to September. The charge is PS3.00 per child until August and free of charge for the month of September (Return the same day as many times as you like). The splash pad runs from 9.30am until 5.00pm. During the charging period the park is staffed. In the winter months and after 5pm when the water is off, the park has no staff on site. It is open and free to enjoy. Located next to Melrose Car Park just over the road from Marine Lake and Knightstone Island, the park is open all year round, (except for occasions when essential maintenance work is needed and extreme weather).
Such good value you can't go wrong! My daughter loves it it does get busy in the holidays. Cafe in site too which is handy and toilets also. The play area is good if your little one wants a break from the water park bit. It's close to the beach and you pay once and can come in and out all day.
I popped here with my 4yo girls to take advantage of a rare sunny afternoon. The girls were thoroughly entertained for 2.5hours and could have lasted longer if I'd let them! The new double zip line was a hit, as was the splash pad but I think they enjoyed the general sense of freedom I was able to allow them in a safe enclosed environment. (although the park was very quiet when we visited) The staff were really welcoming and friendly. They even encouraged me to bring a picnic or fish and chips next time to make a real day of it - such a good idea! At PS3 per child (adults free) to come and go as you please all day I think it's an absolute steal! Top tip: wear a wetsuit and water shoes so kids can easily swap between play park and splash park. Also if there's a wind it can be a bit chilly in the water!
Our kids left their bag and jacket when we visited the Play Park early this month. While the Play Park was great and the kids loved them so much, the overall experience was not good as the kids felt sad leaving their stuff there. Luckily, the staff from the park and City Council (Julie) were so kind. They looked for and even sent them to us through post. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. Love Weston-Super-Mare so much!
Great water splash play area , wooden fort play area, and various climbing frames and play stuff. Children love this place. Price is PS3 charge for children and adults go free. There is plenty of space for families and adults to sit and watch their children play in the splash area. There is a cafe on site for coffee, drinks, and refreshments and also sells pies and snacks and ice creams. It's great fun for families with young children but can get very busy in summer on hot days. Worthna visit.
PS3 per child small splash play area and a park splash is ok for younger kids. You can come and go all day or the park is free to play on after 5pm. Theres a toilet, cafe and small changing room on site.
I was a bit surprised at the PS3 entry fee for kids considering these splash pad parks are usually free throughout the country. Still, we paid the fee and our little one enjoyed her splashing time. It's nice and clean throughout with a large play park, seated picnic areas and grassed areas. There's a cafe kiosk on site plus toilets and changing facilities.
