When the tide is out this is a great place to pick up small fossils. The beach itself is a mixture of shingle, pebbles and rock and it isn't suitable if you have mobility issues. Otherwise it is a nice place to go for a stroll along the beach and promenade. There is plenty of free parking at Larne Leisure Centre.
Access was steep, but area very well maintained and clean.
