About
Starting as a mobile museum visiting schools with a mobile army truck and 2 tons of exhibits, our static museum opened to the public in August 2017. We'll Meet Again WW2 Homefront Museum has been awarded Pride of Boston - overall winner; was runner-up in Destination Lincolnshire Small Visitor Attraction of the Year and is proud to have been recently recognised as a YMCA Age Friendly Business. We have 2 exhibition halls, a 1940s police station exhibit, a parade ground and a large fully fenced and grassed display area, not to mention The Ration Book Cafe and free off-road parking. Wheelchair friendly, we also have disabled parking, a defibrillator in case of emergencies, and separate, fenced off-road overflow parking.

Visited the We'll Meet Again: WW2 Museum this afternoon. Met by very friendly staff who found somewhere for us to park our bikes. This historic gem is well worth the PS7 adult entry fee with the dedication and knowledge of Paul & the team of volunteers clear to see. The attention to detail of the exhibits is amazing. A trip to the Ration Book Cafe for an excellent toasted ham & tomato sandwich, accompanied by a hot chocolate, is also a must, thank you Linda.
Excellent museum WELL worth a visit. Lovely exhibits that commemorate the war years for those who fought and those who stayed at home. A much more vivid experience than many museums which only concentrate on the horrors of war, the We'll Meet Again concept is both uplifting and inspiring. Very knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions. Superb value for money worth every penny of the PS7 entrance fee. 10/10
Had a great visit to the museum today. The entrance fee is pretty reasonable, and you have to spend at least an hour there, but realistically you can spend much longer there if you're looking at all the old wartime uniforms, medals, guns, grenades, along with day-to-day items of the time, along with models and videos to watch. The staff there will happily talk to you about the items on display there and about the real planes, munitions etc. The highlight for me had to be the VR simulator of a Lancaster Bomber which you can pilot for 30 minutes or an hour. This is an extra cost (PS40 or PS70) but as a treat it was so worth it. The animation is incredible, looking all around and below you, and the assistant there acts as your co-pilot talking you through what you need to do. The cockpit doesn't physically move, but with the engine noise and vibration through the seat I actually thought I was tilting and leaning, it's that immersive! Luckily it was quiet today so I managed to get a go in the simulator, but I would recommend booking in advance if you're going and want to do this, especially on busier days. The cafe there is also very quaint, in keeping with the wartime theme of the museum, and prices very decent for a lunch, snack or drink. If you're in the area, give this place a visit.
We had a lovely afternoon looking at att the many interesting things on display. I thought it was just the front building but was amazed that there was other buildings to go in at the back including a lovely cafe. The plane and other vehicles were amazing. The walkways were wonderful. The police station was fantastic. Finally the volunteers and owner were so helpful. If you haven't been -go. It's such a lovely place to visit.
Fantastic museum, set in the vicinity of the old WW2 gun emplacements at freiston Shore. A very warm and friendly welcome was afforded upon arrival. Plenty to see and marvel at. The little cafe was a real pleasure with extremely reasonable prices and again, the staff were most obliging. Highly recommend.
Very friendly, and helpful staff of the museum! It have some nice variety of unique and interesting WW2 historical exhibits/pieces. From: guns of WW2 (you can touch them and inspect them in person, plus there is some friendly and helpful historical museum guides which gladly help you), military uniforms from WW2, classical cars, sometimes live singers/performers, etc. There is a public toilets, and a coffee shop as well. All in all definitely worth to check it out, visit, and explore! and get in touch with WW2 history if you like this kind of things! Ticket prices is very fair deal and good value for money! My verdict would be - 7.5/10 (good one) definitely recommend it! :)
