This eco-friendly visitor centre is nestled within Weald Country Park, a 500-acre woodland and heathland area. The centre features interactive exhibits, a discovery room, and a shop selling local crafts and gifts. Large windows offer stunning views of the surrounding park, while an outdoor seating area allows visitors to relax and take in the scenery. The centre also provides information on the park's history, geology, and wildlife, as well as guided walks and events.
This review is in respect of the Cafe only, the parkland was great. Very limited menu and poor quality ingredients. Sandwiches and paninis were disappointing and there was no cutlery. The black coffee was nice but I'd avoid this cafe in future.
Stunning country park Great to walk amongst the deer and red poll cows Plenty of quiet places to escape to when the park is busy, well worth a visit Paid parking required
This review is about the cafe only. I went there today with friends and we had the most shockingly awful sandwiches. I have never seen anything like this. I could have dug through the bin and found something of far better quality. It cost PS3.50 and it was the cheapest flimsy bread, the fillings were stingy and dry and the panini looked like it had been run over in the car park. No garnish no salad no anything just a paper thin squashed dry sandwich and it literally takes the lady 30 seconds to slap it together and whack it on a plate. Words can not describe just how bad the sandwiches were. They were about as miserable as the lady serving them. Even a left over curly party sandwich is of a higher standard. Bring your own food.
A beautiful place to go with your kids. There are some playgrounds, trees to climb up, "houses" to hide, deer to feed, and nice routes to walk away with your loved ones.
Excellent Country park, loads of open space with Woods, lake and several paly areas. You can also feed the deer here! Small shop for refreshments and ice cream vans on hot days. Great place to go for a walk and explore. Average carpark but they do have an overflow onto the field if it gets busy.
Great park with various different areas. Two play areas (at least) and mix of open fields and woods. Bluebells were starting to come out. Lots of toilets around, the ones nearest the cafe/visitor centre were very new.
