A fine lookout on the Holnicote Estate with views over Horner Wood and the wild expanse of moorland stretching up to Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor. Webber's Post is great for views over Horner Wood, short strolls, cycling, picnics and walking up to Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor's highest point.
Stunning views! Lots of walks including an 'easy access' park for those with prams or wheelchairs etc. Huge car park and further, smaller car parks down the road! No rubbish bins that I could see so be sure to take rubbish bag with you. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here!
Just for the view alone, this place is worth a visit. For the walkers, it's a great spot with plenty of trails to follow across Exmoor. Camping overnight is not allowed and fired are banned. Raised grilles and fire puts are allowed, but be responsible. The spot is monitored by National trust so behave. One of the short walks from Webbers post takes you to the Jubilee hut. Another lovely view spot and worth the 10mins walk. It's wheelchair accessible too.
Webber's post is a beautiful place to go. There are many scenic walks with streams along the way. It is a steep climb down and back up, but you can get the bottom by car if needed.
Great viewpoint overlooking Exmoor. Just a short walk from the car park to the bench at the viewpoint it's a great place to stop for lunch and admire the view.
Great walks, don't forget your walking poles & wear good boots, I did a 2 hour walk & didn't see a soul. Please keep your dogs under control when near the wild ponies & sheep. Please pick up after your dog & take it home. Don't throw it in the hedges !
Great Free car park, lots of walks with great views, really good sunsets as well.
