Had a fantastic visit to the museum & art gallery, with 2 kids aged 14 & 10, The model, train exhibition was amazing which is initially what the visit was for, however little did we realise upstairs the scooter exhibition and retro rooms are real eye opener, the museum itself is a lovely building and staff were really friendly Worth a defo few hrs with kids There is free parking at the Morrisons opposite for up to 3hrs(check the parking signs)
A lovely little art gallery and museum. There's a small selection of 19th century art, a lovely collection of Ruskin pottery and a small children's gallery which would make a great space for little ones to play in. Entry is free and the staff provided a lovely warm welcome.
Great little place to spend an hour. Staff friendly and welcoming. Exhibitions changed to keep it fresh. Well worth a visit x
Had a fantastic hour wandering around in a dress and wig. Would recommend it. Only complaint was that they had no high heels.
Visit with my mom once a month for the dementia cafe.Friendly staff,have cup of coffee and biscuits and a chat and enjoy whatever activity is on.
