Built in 1834, it is a small, single-story building with a hipped roof and a central archway that leads to a courtyard. The building's facade is constructed from yellow stock brick with a stucco finish, and it features a large, cast-iron weighing machine that was used to weigh livestock and goods brought to the market. The Weighbridge is a rare surviving example of a Victorian-era weighbridge and is now a Grade II listed building.
