A tranquil and picturesque moorland in Somerset, England, characterized by rolling hills, heather-covered moors, and scenic valleys, offering opportunities for hiking, horse riding, and birdwatching, with the added charm of wild ponies roaming freely.
Lovely little Forestery commission land, perfect for dog walking or just some time away to take in the peace and tranquility, only broken by the odd large vehicle passing by. Lots of local wildlife to spot, pictures attached, from the Common Blue, Speckled Wood, Red Admirals and even a Dragonfly. A lovely place to visit, unfortunately the main walk is cut short by a fallen tree and a warning sign to not pass, but there are other paths branching off that can be followed.
A huge area of big forest and moorland, lots of the forestry bits are still here but they have been cutting down larges areas of it
