Reservoir nature park popular for rambling & water sports with an environmental education center.
Beautiful space. Can hear the main road throughout the reservoir walk. Quite muddy in places so take wellies or waterproof shoes. Car park was empty but full of speed bumps and no painted spaces.
Found myself in this lovely place and I certainly recommend it. Whether it's an evening stroll that takes you there or a bike ride or kayaking, this place is superb! I enjoyed seeing the sail boats as well. Just a wonderful sight on a Thursday evening. I managed to catch the sunset too. Check out the views...
I visited here in April 2022 as part of walking the Capital Ring route around London. The reservoir seemed quite peaceful fit walks and included some water sports.
Quite place to have a walk for the nature lover with the mesmerizing melody of the chirping birds.
Good for nice walk around the lake. One small branch fall on my shoulder but luckily no damage has happened, so watch out.
This is a beautiful place to hang out. Its peaceful, calming and beautiful. Additionally you can take your kids and go and feed the ducks, it could be a fun day out for the family. There are 2 parts on either side of the bridge that you can go and feed the ducks. Also its a great place to take a walk.
