Under normal circumstances Werneth Low is lovely place to visit with stunning views out in all directions. Just don't visit here when the Northern Lights are expected unless you really like a 3 hour traffic jam on a one lane track/road.

This is just a really good viewpoint and that's it! It's right up at the top of a hill, not far from Hyde and you can see for miles around on a good clear day. It's really good at night time on bonfire night as you can see fireworks going of all around you above the buildings. I haven't done it yet but I think I will one year. To be there on New year's Eve and watch all the fireworks going off at midnight!
