This scenic lookout point offers panoramic views of the surrounding wetlands, a haven for wildlife and nature lovers. Visitors can spot a variety of bird species, including avocets, lapwings, and marsh harriers, as well as other wildlife such as otters and deer. The lookout is equipped with interactive displays and information boards, providing insight into the importance of wetland conservation and the unique ecosystem of the area. On a clear day, the views stretch as far as the North Sea, making it a great spot for photography and relaxation.
Good views from the hides of hedges and water. Saw a good selection of birds and several deer. Visited early April and saw yellow hammers, reed buntings, cetti warblers, goldfinches, pheasants, swans, red kite, Canada geese, greylag geese, coots, moorhens Main paths are gravelled, but the peripheral areas were heavily churned and slippy mud. Not surprising after all the rain, but I suggest wellies if taking these routes. Off the beaten track and probably needing a vehicle to visit but car parking only costs PS2. Dogs are not allowed in some areas.
