Little oasis of a community garden in Whickham. Solely run by volunteers. Interesting collection of plants, wildlife pond and Wendy house for little ones to visit. Modern Orangery Cafe on site is independently run. It offers a good range of snacks and speciality cakes.
We were out walking in Whickham having never really been in the area on foot before. Stumbled on the place and were fascinated at how lovely it was. Loads of quaint, creative and unique pieces decorate the gardens and pond. A really ingenious use of space. The Orangery cafe sits within the grounds and is also well worth a visit

Lovely tranquil gardens with very nice orangery for refreshments.
It's a beautiful garden and nice little cafe.
I've lived nearby for years and often passed by, today I ventured in meeting up with a friend. Such a hidden gem, beautiful, well kept gardens with clear pathways. Plenty of places to sit and waterproof pods. A nice cafe with a simple menu. The bacon bap was tasty, my friend had scrambled egg and bacon on toast, also looked lovely. Friendly staff and also very clean. Would recommend you to visit.
