A 170-acre park featuring a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to a children's play area, a skate park, and several sports facilities, including a bowling green, tennis courts, and a football pitch.
This is a really cute park for the family to have fun together for an hour or two. There's a free car park (opposite Morrisons). It's got a tarmac football/basketball court on one side of the car park, next to it is bowls (for members), and on the other side of the car park is a nice playground, which then leads to the rest of the park, which is like 3 separate areas, all of which are very pretty and nice to walk/run around. It's small (probably about 5 mins to walk around), fun, pretty to explore, play hide-&-seek, play football etc.
Equipment is good if you can get on it. When we went there was about 10 teenagers on and around the tyre swing. They were sat on the floor of the other swings so the kids couldn't go on, smoking, swearing and throwing their rubbish on the floor near a bin. That is not the kind of atmosphere I want to take my 4 year old granddaughter to.
Another great park, just not huge but lot of shade for the dogs on hot days and is well kept and clean
It's a small park styled very nicely. It has a bowling green, a children's play area, seating area and a car park. It's also a lovely place to walk your dog
Nice clean park. Swings and slides for kids. Has got plenty of parking space.
Nice little park right next to the metrolink station in Whitefield. Has plenty of climbing equipment for young and older children including a climbing wall. Definitely worth a visit and lots of free parking places around.
