A disused railway station in Cheshire, England, featuring a charming Victorian-era building with a distinctive pitched roof, tall chimneys, and a quaint waiting room, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a glimpse into the region's industrial past.
Found this little gem via a walking magazine, lovely walks along the old railway itself and also walks coming from it, have yet to visit the cafe as we keep missing the opening times the wild garlic on our most recent trip a couple of weeks ago was lovely
Great place plenty of parking. Toilets are available. Also a cafe but we didn't use. Lovely walk along the old railway line. Great for pushchairs and other wheeled vehicles.
Great place to get outdoors with the family. Relatively flat so not too hard on the kiddos to keep going
Great garden area. A covered space for when the weather is wet. Welcome dogs. A fabulous community cafe run by volunteers. Great coffee and often have delicious gluten free cakes. Snacks for dogs too.
A disused rail station that has been turned into a cafe. Coffee, cake, sandwiches, etc. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Dog friendly too. There is free parking and public WC. Cycle trail and nature trail in the area. Worth a visit
Great little find, perfect pit stop on our bike ride and very dog friendly too (there were plenty of owners meeting to have some free training). Nice coffee, great looking cakes - although I didn't have one, 'coz I'm an athlete (honest!!). Will be making this one of my regular cycling routes. Thanks guys, defo be back.
