A 14th-century medieval manor house with a stunning Great Hall, ornate chapel, and beautifully restored gardens, showcasing a rich history and architecture.
Liked: Location was lovely and peaceful with a direct view of the Abbey and we enjoyed the cows being close by. The communal kitchen area was a really thoughtful addition with lots of amenities and space for preparing food. Disliked: The one toilet was a little bit tricky as there was a large family staying at the same time who occupied the toilet and shower for a large portion of the evening. It's only a small site so probably isn't usually much of a problem.
Liked: Booked for one night, the location was great, for our trip to lacock abbey, camping pod was super cute. It's literally camping without the tent, lovely comfortable double bed and loved taking my own duvet and pillows, ample plug sockets (4) with usb ports. Kettle plates cups knifes and forks etc all in the little cupboard. Helpful book with local places to eat, rules for park etc. Owner was extremely helpful. Said hello to the cows in the morning. Amazing car boots near by. Toilet and shower were well maintained and clean, loved there was a fridge freezer but didn't use it. Aldi supermarket 2 mins up road. We have already spoke about returning for a weekend stay. Disliked: I can't say I really disliked anything. Although the little step into the camping pod on the decking, I tripped a couple of times, even though I knew it was there. Only one toilet for all the camp, maybe a little sign for the step in decking & couple of portaloos would be a good addition.
Liked: The host Charlotte is the most friendly welcoming host, the site is quite small which was lovely very peaceful. The facilities were immaculate we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would definitely recommend Whychurch farm. Great spot not to far for visiting sights and the cotswolds water park is about 20 minute drive. Thank you so much Charlotte we will definitely be back next year. Michelle Shane, Luna, Mable x
Liked: Quiet location, scenery, footpath walk through field next door. Site and facilities were clean, tidy, and peaceful. Lots of space between units. Convenient location for our needs. Disliked: Only one shower on site, was fine for our stay, but would be a nightmare if site was busy. No provision for recycling anything, only a general waste bin.
Liked: Loved how clear the access was and communication beforehand. The pods were clean and the kitchen / toilet facilities were also very clean with lots of handy items. The pods also had a kettle with tea and sugar - thank you. Lovely peaceful stay and would deffo go again.
Liked: Lovely quiet location. Good facilities with a great shower/toilet facility with washing up and a fridge to use! Only 2 toilets available which could cause a hold up if the site was full but other than that it is perfect. Can walk in to malmesbury from the site too with a co op for all provisions.
