Was delighted to find Wigton Park today. Recently moved to the area and was desperately looking for a nice place to sit but more importantly exercise my dog safely. Its a lovely park, nice big field beautiful borders of colourful flowers somewhere for youngsters to play and a nice covered area to sit if weather turns wet. Very clean and tidy would certainly recommend. Also was lucky enough to meet a very nice couple who told me about more areas to visit with my dog.
Lovely little park, hidden down a small road, with cricket pitch, bowling club and play park, just unfortunate about the chemical works next door!
