Rustic-chic rooms with free Wi-Fi in a restored 1400s farmhouse with gardens and full breakfast.
What a little gem of a B & B. We are staying in the orchard room which is just delightful, we were welcomed by William who showed us our room with breakfast provided, a fridge with Milk orange juice cheese & butter for our morning toast. Tea coffee & cereals also provided. |The garden is charming with an added bonus of being a stone's throw from Sissinghurst which we will visit tomorrow morning & Rye in the afternoon. |It is also well positioned for Great Dixter house & magnificent garden. |It's going to be which a lovely break. |Many thanks.
The location was stunning. The room was exactly what we wanted. Cosy, warm and very clean. The bed was bliss, I didnt want to get up. Perfect breakfast made available. Doors that opened out into a perfectly kept garden. Wish we couldve stayed longer
Everything that I needed for somewhere to crash after busy days volunteering at The Big Cat Sanctuary. Very quaint shepherd's hut in a really peaceful lication|It has a double bed, so sleeps 2, but personally I wouldn't go as a couple.|One thing I didn't pick up was that there is no TV. However, I had my laptop and used I Player and the WiFi was great.|Nice continental breakfast left in the accomodation the day before and a very friendly/thoughtful lady looking after the property for the owner
Such a lovely, cosy cottage environment. Victoria was extremely welcoming and even went out of her way to supply gluten free breakfast items for my partner. The room was beautiful, very peaceful and serene. Only a 25 minute drive from Ashford and all the shops. Highly recommend
I had a wonderful 4 night stay. The bed was comfy and the duvet was soft and fluffy. My favourite thing was sitting at the table looking out the window to the garden and daffodils The cottage is very central to many National Trust properties, Historic Houses and English Heritage properties. I enjoyed visiting many of them and relaxing in the Hoppers afterwards The little kitchen is a bonus too
The wilderness is an ideal place for rest and piece and quiet; A long narrow road takes you far enough from the main road. A very friendly owner is on the spot to show you around and get you settled in. The continental breakfast is more than suffient and the optional sharing platter is delicious. Internet, shower and bed work well and are very comfortable.
