Wildwood Trust is a animal park and wildlife charity - dedicated to giving your family a wild adventure! Seeing the animals that where once common in our country like bears & wolves. There is lots more than animals, you can also have a wild time in Kent's best adventure playground. Our charity is dedicated to Rewilding Britain, returning our lost wildlife and recreating wild habitats
We always have a great time at Wildwood! Love that the enclosures are big and enriching for the animals, lots to see. We love the rope bridge over the bears! The play area is brilliant also, plenty for all ages and my son finally conquered the drop slide on our last visit!
We've now become Members and absolutely love visiting here. Lovely to see things changing all the time too. Beautiful woodland animals to visit, ample picnic space and the little restaurant/cafe is good too. Definitely recommend going!
Wildwood is an absolute gem of a place for animal lovers. The park is beautifully designed providing a wonderful environment for both the animals & visitors. The variety of animals is impressive, from native British species to more exotic creatures. The staff at Wildwood are extremely knowledgeable & passionate about the animals, which enhances the overall experience. The park offers a range of interactive experiences, such as feeding sessions & talks, which are both educational & entertaining. I left Wildwood feeling like I had truly connected with the animals and learned so much about conservation & the importance of preserving wildlife. I can't recommend this park enough - it's a must-visit if you're in Canterbury!
I did the Artic Fox Experience which was a birthday gift. Best birthday present ever! I had half an hour with the most adorable Albert and Flo and I fed them their main meal. The staff (two lovely ladies whose names I forgot, sorry) were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. For the price of experience we were allowed to wonder around and see the other animals, and we had a PS5 voucher for refreshments. I can really recommend the experience and the place, it was truly magical. Thank you
Good place but not all areas are open in the Wildwood areas and mostly I found empty Enclosures but some areas might have animals sleeping I found it interesting still dear area didn't have any green area for them to chew on Mostly muddy ground I reached and found some long grass and gave it to them. They seem very pleased and eager sign sign do not feed the animals. It's a showing they can't feed themselves on fresh grass.
The highlight of wild wood is the bears. Enough other smaller birds, and other small animals to keep you entertained for 3 hours. Better for younger kids and looks like there was a pretty good play area for them.
