A 45-acre park featuring a large lake, walking trails, and a variety of wildlife, including swans, ducks, and fish. Visitors can rent boats, take a leisurely stroll, or enjoy a picnic on the grass. The park also has a children's play area, a café, and a visitor center.
Lots of ducks here, nice nature features such as the weir, good for walking the dog or a casual stroll, has a park for kids too.
Lovely walk round the park and fields at the back with the dog, plenty of new smells for him. The park was relatively clean and the swings entertained the little girl for 10 minutes. Parking can be a bit difficult if it gets busy.
We only stopped off as we were passing on the way home and thought we'd have a look around as it was a nice day. Nice and tranquil lake with lots of geese, ducks and gulls, also a couple of Swans. We had a short walk around and a sit down to take in a bit of people watching feeding the geese. Very peaceful and great to have a relax to gather your thoughts.
Beautiful lake, mesmerising Weir and plenty of wildlife.
What a hidden delight , literally 10 minutes drive from home , took friend and her pup for a nice stroll , plenty of bins to put all types of waste in so no excuse to leave any litter being human or animal , lovely pathways again all spotless , nice meadow to walk around , lovely lake with lots of birds on water , play area for children and free parking for 3 hours on church car park ,
It's an amazing park. Nice chill out in the woods. I recommend for those who like the nature true form. Also great with dog. I don't recommend to visit as a family activities.
