Somewhere new to us after moving and a beautiful little find. Kids had a lot of fun both walking around the woodland and playing in the park. Will become a regular spot for us.
Nice relaxing walk through the trees, perfect for the pooches when the Sun is too hot and you need a bit of shade.
I found this little gem of a park while looking to find somewhere to take my son while my girls went to gymnastics at the community centre. It's brilliant! There's trees between the 2 parks for kids to explore, picnic tables, I didn't see any toilets, small carpark and an array of equipment for all ages. A man at the park was saying there's a lake nearby and you can go for walks. Will definitely be back again with my girls next time!
Great place. Shame about vandalism, that's not the fault of the park. A few things could do with a bit of TLC but it's nice to visit. Children's play areas look good. Nice woodland walk area with carved wood sculptures now and then.
Lovely place to rest after walking dog along the disused railway line walkway between Wingate and Trimdon. The park has seating with fun swings, climbing frame etc if you have children. X
Quiet woodland trails, Bridge over pond, pond has wildlife in it, lots of bird song , seating and parking , no toilet facilities, nice play area for children .
