Zoo park with feeding sessions, talks and conservation projects, plus up-close animal encounters.
A great day out for all the family, there is a large car park with disabled access very close to the building. There is a lot of maps and toilets in and around the park, with lots of animals all over. It can be hard to navigate at times as there is a clear route or trial way to follow. A few drink stop off points throughout the park and ice creams for sale throughout. A large variety of animals including penguins, flamingos, bears, snakes, giraffes and lions. I would suggest familiarising yourself with all the areas before hand or can easily miss sections out. Overall a great day out with the kids
Wingham has a wealth of beautiful creatures, from the friendly parrots to the majestic giraffes. It is a very interactive experience , with opportunities to feed the animals and get really close to them. We went to Wingham as a family, ranging in age from 1-70 , and everyone enjoyed it. There are plenty of places to sit , enough toilets and 2 good cafes and the obligatory gift shop. Wingham also sports at least 2 entertaining playgrounds for children and much more...
Went here 7 years ago and wow what a change since then. Clearly a lot of money has been spent and the specie variation massively increased. The nocturnal house is especially good as is the whole orangutan enclosure. All enclosures look very well sized to meet the needs of the animals and I will definitely be back in the near future.
We had not been for many years and were delighted with the change from a slightly shabby place to take the kids into a fully fledged Wildlife Park. The car park is massive, but needs to be as the site gets very busy after lunch. Plenty of eating and resting places. We particularly enjoyed the Penguins, Giraffes, and the Reptile House. Highly recommend a visit and if local upgrade your ticket to an annual pass. I advise booking on line to save a little money and make use of any offers applicable at the time.
Very good day out at Wingham! Went whilst some schools were still open so it was nice and quiet. My daughters favourite thing by far was the bird house where you can pay PS2 and get a pot of nectar. You then hold it out and the birds land on you to drink it. We also watched the lion talk, meerkat talk which were all good and informative. She always enjoys a wander around the dinosaur area and a play in the sand pit. Also the park is awesome since the built the new towers and slides that are very tall.
I took my nephew for his birthday, he had an amazing time and so did I, I couldn't believe how many animals there were to see, such a well maintained wildlife park and so much to see and do, they even have a lifelike dinosaur exhibit of which my nephew adored and was very excited from the start to finish. The price per adult was PS19.50 and kids PS16.50, to some the price is a bit steep but trust me it was such great fun and worth the price. If you haven't been here then you should go see this wildlife park, you won't be disappointed.
