The lake is beautiful but its path is very wild and muddy. Not suitable for families with young children as there are many dangerous spots. Absolutely not suitable for buggies. We had to stop our walk and return home because the mud made it impossible. Such a pity, it would be nice. The pub, with its picturesque terrace over the lake, has its own google profile.
A lovely historic pub overlooking a lake with an outside seating area for warm summer evenings. The food was presented well and was very tasty. Service was good, and the waitress was attentive and smily. Food is a little pricey, dessert was around PS7.50 but again nice and well presented. Would recommend
Interesting spot. The pubs been through numerous hands but in a summers evening it's a lovely spot for a drink. The lake itself has day ticket fishing and there is a waterskiing club. Check out the Bonsai Nursery on the access road in.
Buitifull lake .very picturesque only fished here twice. Blanked the 1st trip but had a lovely 20lb 3oz pike on my second. So I will return with more dead baits to hand .
Visited due to the online menu offering a good selection of vegan options, unfortunately most of them are no longer available, the menu has recently changed. Still a nice pub in a great setting
