The duck pond is a great place to visit with the kids. Ours love feeding the birds, Ducks, Coots, Geese and Swans, as well as climbing the trees. They also like walking around the lake, spotting rats and other small mammals. The pond is even nicer since they have cleared away some of the trees, allowing a route all the way round the pond through the willows.
A small pond midway on the Witham River Walk. A cute little spot, often with ducks, and swans. A great spot to sit for a while and watch the world go by.
Lovely pond with lots of ducks and swans. Beautiful willow trees surrounding it which you can get under to have a closer look. Shame about the rats, we're pretty sure we counted 11 individuals out in broad daylight while we were standing there!
Lovely place to see the ducks and swans and occasionally a few you weren't expecting along Witham's Riverwalk. The Egret was taken at the Weir near the duck pond.
A nice little pond alongside the river walk, with a couple of benches to sit on. There are signs requesting that you don't feed bread to the ducks, it's not good for them.
