38-acre, grassy hangout popular with dog walkers, featuring woodlands & 250+ types of lilacs.
Three 'fields' with a surrounding woodland walk. It contains The Puppy Park in the second section and there is endless joy in watching puppers and dogs cavort about, going rogue, doing zoomies and coming up to you. Foliage, greenery, a rough swing under a huge tree, hidey holes, lilac trees in Spring, some remarkable twisty turny old trees, an abundance of colour in autumn, fantastic views and plenty of benches to sit and watch the dogs and the views. Love it.
We enjoyed the dog park very much! There is lots of space so your dog doesn't need to be surrounded by other dogs all the time but just when you want to. There are benches, views and flowers for you too.
A lovely local park to take the dog fir a safe off the lead walk. Lilacs just passed their best but still stunning.
I've lived in Brighton for a over a decade and I can't believe I've never been to Withdean Park! Lots of gates makes this a great place for dogs and the views are simply stunning. If you are a flora fan as I am, head there purely to take in the heady aroma of the spectacular Lilacs.
You will often hear about a puppy park but this a fallacy. While their is a fenced in area for dogs would not call it puppy park as it is most certainly not restricted to puppies and small dogs.
Lovely spring walk in the lilac tree enclosure with my dog....absolutely fantastic
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
Dog park
