Woburn Safari Park is home to hundreds of endangered and exotic animals. Enter in your own vehicle and drive alongside tigers, bears, rhinos, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, zebras, and lions. The park is open daily. For a fantastic day out for families in the comfort of their car and exploring beautiful parkland. Drive the Road Safari then wander through the Foot Safari with a daily programme of keeper talks and demonstrations and walk-through animal exhibits.
A trip worth making. We were two families with a total of six people, including a child and an infant. We clubbed both the families in one car, which enriched the experience as the children enjoyed together, and also, it saved us around PS110 because of one car. There is a free car parking conveniently located near the safari park. The safari was awesome and was like as described. There are a large variety of animals roaming in open. We were fortunate enough to see the lions from very near. A zebra came close to our car, and a monkey even came and sat on the bonnet of my car. The elephants were very far, though, and heavily guarded by fences, so we could not have a nice look around. There is a picnic spot near a lake where you can picnic and also can have a free boat ride. There are plenty of small and farm animals around as well. There are plenty of options to eat and drink.overall a very nice and enjoyable trip.
Well worth the money! Not only do you get to drive thru the safari and see loads of animals up close and personal - you also end up at a walk-around park with plenty more animals to see. Could definitely spend the whole day with the family here.
We randomly turned up to Woburn and boy were we glad we did so! Honestly it was lovely driving through and seeing these beautiful animals. The lions were majestic and the giraffes were just beautiful. All in all a fantastic day out!! So glad we went spontaneously!
Amazing experience highly recommend for families with kids, you easily spend the whole day without getting bored. Animals are coming really close to the cars and you almost feel like you are in Africa. Playground and attractions are very nice, our kids were super happy. We bought all inclusive tickets, and to be honest the food was not so good.. Also see lion cove show was nothing special, and since it is first come first serve people are pushing around to get in. Suggest booking for early morning we were there around 10:20 and it was pretty relaxing. It is very open so prepare for a lot of heat and sun. The staff in the park is very nice.
Bought our tickets in advance, so the entry was quick! Have seen quite a few wild animals for our first time, so my family and I was more than happy to visit in the park. During our visit, the staff were very friendly, and took care well of the animals. Worth the visit!
I recently had a fantastic experience at Woburn Safari Park. The drive-through safari was thrilling, and I loved the opportunity to see so many different animals in their natural habitats. Unfortunately, due to animals hiding I wasn't able to see all the animals on offer. Despite this minor setback, I would highly recommend Woburn Safari Park to anyone looking for a fun and educational day out. The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return and explore more of what the park has to offer.
