The ladies from Woodland View Alpacas were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and we had a wonderful afternoon! It is apparent that they really care about the alpacas and they looked after everyone on the walk so well. Before setting off on our trek, they gave us a safety briefing before introducing us to the alpacas with a thorough and amusing profile of each one. We were then matched with our Alpaca, given a place in the walking line (based upon the Alpaca) and set off. It proved to be a lot of fun, with the alpacas stopping to eat greenery or give themselves a back scratch on a nearby bush! A really enjoyable experience and I wouldn't hesitate to return. The experience was gifted to me as a Christmas gift and I can honestly say that it was a brilliant idea! Monty the alpaca was an absolute gem too.
Such a great experience! Me and my partner have now been to woodland view twice now and we'd certainly go back for a third, very informative with a great guide, first we had Dave and Marcus, recently we had Monty and Dartium, all very well behaved and a joy to walk. Be back soon!
Had a fantastic time walking with these beautiful animals. Went on the hottest day of the year so far so did wonder if it might get cancelled but we did a lovely shaded walk through the wood. Such gentle creatures and the lady and her daughter were so knowledgeable and interesting. Would highly recommend.
The organisers Teresa and Sophia gave us a wonderful experience walking with the alpacas. An interesting talk first about the alpacas, they're personalities and funny habits. I walked Guinness and he was such a beautiful well behaved boy.
Lovely bank holiday day out! The team was very welcoming and friendly. They clearly have great knowledge about each alpaca as an individual. We had a briefing of how to hold and walk them, the commands we can give them. We were introduced to each alpaca, got to know their personalities and preferences. I had a great time walking with Alvin, 10/10 would recruit in the lawn mowing business. Great response to commands, even if a little stubborn. A really great way to get yourself out of the house, go for a walk, and learn new things about these animals!
Visiting the alpaca farm was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. These cute, friendly animals are captivating with their beauty and grace. The atmosphere on the farm was incredibly calm and relaxing, and every moment spent there brought genuine pleasure. The highlight was the opportunity to interact closely with the alpacas, pet them, and even feed them. The farm staff were very friendly and provided detailed information about the care of these animals, their habits, and interesting facts about their lives. Additionally, there were great photo opportunities, creating wonderful memories of the day.
