Wonderland, a 19th-century fantasy-themed amusement park, featuring elaborate sets, costumed characters, and nostalgic fairground rides, including a wooden rollercoaster, carousel, and swing boats, amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and a tranquil woodland setting.
Lovely place to walk, but a bit muddy at the moment.
Parking can be problematic. Saturday mornings especially, as a massive running club use the car park for their runners!!
Cricket being played and sun shining what more could one want. Of course the council playpark is brilliant and there is always a nice walk to be had.
Lovely parky area but bobbly pitches with slight gradient. Great for dog walks but maybe not so for a game of football. Children's play park and an alright car park where during matchday seemed quite busy. Get there early.
I visit Woodside regularly as they hold a Parkrun. Great facilities and very popular on a Saturday morning with runners, kids football teams and some people just out for a walk. Lovely environment, well looked after and some very pleasant gardens to meander around. There are toilet facilities available which is always helpful. Only issue is that it can be a bun fight for car parking if you get there late.
Always a lovely place for a walk. Plenty of wildlife around to photograph.
