A picturesque beach on the Isle of Wight, Woodside Beach is a tranquil haven surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. The beach itself is a gentle slope of golden sand, meeting the calm and clear turquoise waters of the Solent Strait.
Gorgeous little beach. Make sure you check the tide times as the whole beach is underwater at high tide. There are so many rockpools to explore and there are loads of clams/oysters you can find. It's a short walk from the private road you can park on and right next to a quiet holiday caravan park. There's a good amount of woodland around too so you can explore around there
Wow happy Thursday evening rush hour forward to at the Woodside Beach in Between North and Northeast
Took a walk here to sit and contemplate, nice peaceful place, a few people swimming, lots of dogs around, not a sandy beach but very nice.
The family and I had a realy nice time, we spent about 2 and a half hours down here. It is located behind the Woodside retreat but we never encountered any holiday makers. Great place for picking winkles. Would have had 5 stars but as we were leaving, my little one cut for foot on broken glass (yes she had shoes on). Still glad we went though
Really nice beach and pretty secluded. I went for a fish but didn't catch anything otherwise it would be a five star review. Would be a. Nice place to camp but beware of the tide as it comes right in. There were a group of youths there having a fire and a bit of fun there too.
Nice quiet beach next to our holiday park. It is shingle so don't go if you want a sandy beach. No facilities nearby unless you are staying at the Woodside Bay Woodland or Coastal Retreat. Great view across to Portsmouth. Can watch the Fishguard ferry going in and out.
Good for kids
