Woodside Gardens is a 10-acre botanical garden featuring a variety of plants, flowers, and trees from around the world. The garden is divided into different sections, including a rock garden, herb garden, and sensory garden, each with its own unique theme and design. Visitors can explore the gardens via meandering paths and discover hidden features, such as a pond, fountain, and sculptures. The gardens also offer a tea room, plant shop, and regular events and exhibitions throughout the year.
A hidden gem just outside Lymington center Woodside Gardens is a beautiful park. There are plenty of benches around the park, public toilets, a children's play park, tennis courts, table tennis tables and an outside gym. With the concrete ways around the park it is easy accessible for wheelchair users. There are some trees with fairy doors for children to find. Overall a lovely garden that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Lovely park which I have visited many times over a number of years. A lovely walk through tree lined walkways is framed by massive Rodedendrums and planted beds that are beautifully kept. A large children's play area is a bonus and the field behind has a cafe and a vast open space in which to run around, play football or just have a relaxing picnic.
A beautiful place for an enjoyable walk and you can head for a coastal walk from here with stunning views of the Isle of wight.
Beautiful gardens and a lovely spot to take young children for a walk and a play in the park. There has not been much added in recent times.
Delightful garden with easy walking around the many trees and flowers. There is a link to another massive park that contains large sports fields. Ideal for a picnic. There is also a club coffee house for a drink and cake, although I didn't use it this facility there were a few guests enjoying the sunshine. Plenty of seats too so that you don't rush the experience. Small carpark though.
A truly beautiful garden that is a hidden gem in Lymington. Two car parks, one is limited on space the other has a height barrier but is a lot bigger. Childrens play area, outside gym, tennis courts and lots of areas to exercise yourself, children or pets. A lovely area planted and maintained to perfection. Well worth a visit.
