We stayed in the Oak Cottage. Lovely place, had everything we needed, and if didn't maintenance man came when needed. The outside area and hot tub were lovely. Just a shame about all the flies inside. Maybe some fly nets on the windows would help
Good ,relaxing place ,the owner is lovely ,the staff are so helpful and polite, great fishing ponds
Nice place , plenty of parking spaces, on site toilet and shop, think there is a cafe but I didn't venture far from the pond, the ponds (2) are both easy accessible there are pegs for wheelchair users too. We caught a variety of fish on this visit not all monsters but around the 1lb 2lb mark, Perch, Chub, Barbel, Rudd, Bream, Tench, the guy a couple of pegs away caught a decent Carp, well into the dbl figures, baits we used ..maggots and 6mm pellets. So a very good day out for PS7.00 (2 rods).
Stayed in Chestnut cottage and it was brilliant. Played golf, the course was ok but at this time of the year there were too many leaves to be able to find your ball easily. Next time will b in the summer. Would recommend the ace to singles, couples, families and golfers. Hot tub and sauna were fabulous, lovely and clean.
My wife and I stayed here the week before Christmas, it was our second time. Once again we had a fantastic time. The pub was affordable and the meals was plentiful. We went to the garden centre "that is a must if you come".
Absolutely terrible wasp infestation and the staff are refusing to do anything about it. They're threatening to charge us PS33 for another pitch if we want to protect my child with a netted gazebo...I won't be returning
