Housed in an elegant Victorian building in the heart of Worcester, the Art Gallery and Museum is a warm and friendly place with exhibitions, events and activities for all the family to enjoy throughout the year. Entry to the museum is free. There's a lot to explore in the museum, from pre-historic fossils right through to Worcestershire Sauce.
Free entry. It is a very interesting museum covering many subjects through exhibitions. Will you like it? I believe it has something for all the family. It is well worth the visit. Access for disability, toilets, and a lovely cafe. Many stories come alive in this museum. It is quite stirring. Really enjoyed it. It is close to the town centre.
Not huge but plenty to see and learn about the history of Worcester. Lovely little cafe in a very grand setting and entry is free!
Exhibits on palaeontology, the wars (local viewpoint), regional fauna, Lee & Perrins, as well as some locally themed artwork. Cafe menu includes vegan items: toastie with Marmite and sausage roll. Gift shop on ground floor.
Great exhibits. Had an 80s themed section when we went. Even has the original Worcester sauce recipe jug from which the nectar of the gods was perfected. Always love a museum visit when i travel, and we spent nice little afternoon looking around this museum
Lovely little museum and gallery where you can spend an hour or two. Kids friendly. Daughter loved the little play area in the middle. Simple but educational and fun. Coffee was very good as well.
Lovely art gallery and museum. We happened to visit whilst they have a middle earth exhibition, which was great fun to see. Free entry, friendly staff, great exhibitions, and an inexpensive cafe. What more could you ask for. Go now while the eye of Sauron is looking the other way
