Scenic park featuring formal gardens, croquet lawns & meadows, plus unique animal sculptures.
Great park, right size and relatively unknown so never too full with people. Has a lake as well as very well manicured lawns and flowers well looked after. No specific kids area.
So nice place for family day out, very calm and Quiet, neat & clean as well
A lovely little park, we've only lived in Horley for 30 years and didn't even know of this place. Well maintained and easy access to walk around the lake, a heavenly place to live however the housing estates surrounding the gardens which were once part of a private estate spoils the beauty. Car park spaces are limited.
Very tranquil and beautiful place to stroll around and get lost in times of days gone past. Goldilocks sized park. Not to big or to small, just right.
Very open lovely garden's, place was built during victorian times. Great place to come and walk the dog or simply time to ones self. Free plus parking (limited) and toilet facilities including disabled. Tea/coffee wagon out the front with some seating, there are plenty of places in the gardens too. Well kept and no littering anywhere. Busy times are between 11am and 1pm check on Google before going because parking could become difficult, but people leave all the time so shouldn't have to wait long if you do.
The gardens are fantastic and well looked after. The estate must have looked wonderful when the big house was there. We did the tree trail recently, which was enjoyably challenging. There's a great range of trees as you would expect for this setting. However, the trail map is indicative.
