Welcome to Wroxham Miniature Worlds the largest indoor modelling attraction in the UK stretching over 10,000 square feet with some of the largest model railways in the world on permanent public display. The attraction is made up of many zones including model railways in various scales, slot car displays, a whole city made from LegoTM bricks, model boat displays and a host of toys from across the decades, Vintage Penny Arcades, Interactive Flight Simulators, Train Simulators and more new railway layouts some of which you can drive yourself. There is something for the whole family. Onsite cafe with indoor seating and takeaway option is open on days the attraction is open.
This place is fantastic. The variety of layouts was quite impressive and the quiz sheet kept my kids entertained throughout (even my 19yo daughter) the old-time arcade is a must and very entertaining. It would benefit from a few hours TLC as some of the layouts are in need of a clean and re-set.
This place is amazing and fun for all the family. I can so recommend a visit, adults can re-live their childhood and return to a world of wonder. Once inside there are free to use vintage arcade/games consoles, from the 70s/80s and 90s. Displays of toys from all era's and a fabulous section dedicated to purely Lego modelling.
Bring out your inner child again. Amazing train set models and many other nostalgic toys, plus an arcade. There is also a cafe and small gift shop. Well worth a visit in any weather and ideal on a rainy day as it is all inside.
A wide variety of miniatures from trains, scenery, cars and scale-electrics (slot racing) as well as Simulators and vintage arcade penny games, some classic consoles too! Was a very enjoyable visit seeing the model trains go round, the small LEGO exhibit as well as a good selection of original Star Wars and Thomas the tank memorabilia, The Knitted section (only recently been installed as featured on news) looked brilliant! Highly worth a visit, went with the family and a 2 n half year old who was in awe Small brio wooden track play area to keep him entertained as well as small onsite cafe and accessible toilets / changing facilities
Very expensive for what it is personally. The knitted displays were the best part of it. Lots of interactive experiences such as games and simulators. I just wish the trains displayed actual replicas of places and have an explanation plaque with them to make it more interesting.
We stepped out of a chilly damp day into this magical place and three generations of my family fell under it's spell for the next two hours. The railway layouts were full of tiny unexpected delights that made you marvel at the makers inventiveness. Our grandchildren were hooked on the railway layouts. Their parents played Super Mario and old mechanical arcade games and we older ones loved the displays of dolls house paraphernalia and the scale models from our youth. Loved the whole thing.
